About
The AHC
South Western is a region of the National Club which caters for members
stretching from the Cotswolds, through Wiltshire, down into Devon and
Cornwall and, to the West, across into South Wales whilst bordering the
Thames Valley region in the East, so it is a large region and not one
that very easily caters for all of its members!
Nonetheless, we are a very active region typically offering a
broad range of events – something for everyone hopefully!
The season typically starts in early April with a ‘season
opener’, then various events through the summer, aiming also to include
an international tour, and finishes in early November with a weekend
event on the Isle of Wight!
Uniquely, we also run our own Autotest series which is open to all AHC
members and other classic car owners on application.

officially affiliated to the AHC, these being the Association of Healey
Owners – for the Warwick Healeys – and the Midget and Sprite Club, and
also those clubs, single and multi-marque, who are based in our area.
As the FBHVC has recently suggested, spreading costs and ensuring
strong support for events is vital if we are to secure the future of our
smaller classic car clubs.
The latest event news will be broadcast to members via Revcounter, and
more specifically through the SW E-newsletter;
to sign up for this, e-mail Mark Knight (see Contacts page) or
view a copy on the News page.
Late-notice, urgent news will be posted on the Home page and the
current event calendar is available under ‘Calendar’.
